Corndust Among the Stars

is a collection of doggerel which
traces the mental meanderings of
an Olde Coot who has wonderingly
wandered around fifty-eight countries,
joyfully splashed along most of the
major rivers of the world, traversed
the Appalachians, the Rockies, and
the Andes, and rambled along the
minimal jungle trails of the Solomon
Islands, the Amazon basin and the
Marble Jungle of the Potomac. Obser-
vations and irrelevant thoughts have
inspired these doggrelizations.

Though I have well-read books of poetry
on my shelves and the love of poetry in
my heart, my talents of poetic expression
are held captive by a powerful rivulet of
mediocrity.
